This is a very poorly managed store. We visited about 6 months ago and were aggressively invited to do the custom scan thing by the manager, where they track all your sizes. When we declined, she quickly pawned us off to an sweet but inexperienced salesperson, stating her shift ended 10 minutes ago. I went in again this week. At 11:30ish, there was a sign on the door saying they were closed and would reopen at 11:50. I ran another quick errand and came back. The same manager was working. I asked for a specific item (short sleeved dress shirt) and was told there is one brand in 2 colors. With zero effort to ask about alternatives. As I was leaving, I asked if they typically close in the middle of the day. Her response was ... I'm working by myself and I had to take a break. 90 minutes after the store opens? I will drive 30 minutes further to go to the Arden location in the future.

Want to give a shout out to the sales associate Kayla. She helped my 6' 8" 210 lb. husband find an impossible suit ensemble. She walked us through all the styles and fits based on just looking at his "style" and knew his size by just looking at him. It was impressive. She was super patient with him as my husband has a severe back injury and moved slow. Her expertise helped narrowed down the options to perfect fit and cut the first go around and even talked us into buying some snazzy dress sneakers that look hot and will offer the much needed back support. She made the best recommendations for ties with gorgeous pops of color - none of which he would have ever picked for himself and he loves them. We were in and out under 20 minutes and had everything we needed for a Tuesday event. Thanks Kayla for your patience, professionalism, and style forward advice. My husband is going to look great and feel great! Oh, and the prices were very reasonable considering the service and being able to walk out with a brand new suit, shirt, shoes, and 4 ties! We will be back!

My son and I were pleased with our experience with Kayla today. She greeted us and asked what we were looking for. She offered a special virtual measurement that seemed accurate to my sons sizing. She used tools to help us look up stock and then placed orders conveniently shipped to our house in the sizes we needed. Excellent customer service offered variety of options without being pushy. We will be back to shop at DXL Roseville!

My 18 year old son is a big and tall guy with a serious adversion to shopping. Hadn't really shopped since his last growth spurt about a year ago. He was able to get scanned in the dressing room and we picked him out a few items. One less star because honestly I thought the staff would be a bit more helpful. For instance, once he tried on the recommended size he wanted a looser fit. I asked if we could get several of the shirts he had picked out in a larger size and the worker was like "yeah go get whatever you need". Maybe I'm old! My experience in the past has been small shops like that would help you find the size you're looking for. I was helping him, by taking things off and putting them back on the hanger. I tried to hand off unwanted items to another staff member. She just stood there a little more than arms length away and stared at me. The return rack was blocked by boxes, so I wasn't sure where she wanted me to put them. So I set them on the boxes. We'll probably do most of our business with them online now that we have sizes down.

Unbelievable how stupid people are. Ordered a shirt for my trip, paid extra to have to express shipped, and literally he or she (whatever your pronoun is) ordered the same shirt that I brought to the counter and asked for in white. Now its too late to get it replaced.
