DXL Big + Tall

Being a plus size person, options for clothes shopping is limited and their prices reflect that. What I can get at Walmart in Wyoming cost four times the amount at DXL. The quality of their economical brands are mediocre, though they do have longevity, they start to fade, develop permanent folds, and look tacky after just a few washes. Amazon is cheaper, but the quality tends to be worse. However, the store is always clean and the staff are very friendly. It boils down to being the lesser of two evils.

Great selection of large mens clothing. Up to 8XL on most things. Good quality as well, usually lasts me about 6-12 months of heavy daily use. Prices are far for larger clothes, two t-shirts for 40 and dress shirts for like, 35-85. Staff is really friendly and it’s always very clean. Three or four dressing rooms as well. A must for bigger guys in Utah.

When I called them, they claimed to have tall shirts, but when I got there, they were very average length shirts. I absolutely hate shirts that won't stay tucked in. The service was friendly until it wasn't and he lost interest in helping me. Very disappointing shopping experience!

Absolutely do not shop this store. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because you have to give at least 1 star. If I could do 0 stars, I would. Absolutely cheap fabric, was sent the wrong size and then charged $20 to return them. Horrific experience all the way around. Don’t pay them $20 or whatever they charge you for nothing. Keep your money and shop elsewhere.

The lady at DXL was polite friendly and courteous, despite the slightly less than cordial mood I was in. She heard what I told her were my needs, in a pair of durable pants in my size, and led me straight to them. And despite the fact that I came in, less than two minutes before closing, she still offered to let me try them on there in the fitting room, or try them on at home, and bring them back if they didn't fit.... But they fit, and it feels so nice not to have everything in my pockets, pressing into the bend of my hip joints because I have a pair of pants that fit.

They really should just call this place Big + Bigger, because there’s barely a selection of tall sizes. Not only does this store use “vanity sizing” (a shirt advertised as XL is actually XXL, etc.) but they also don’t carry anything smaller than XL. Do you need a 8XL shirt? No problem! But if you’re freakishly tall but only moderately overweight, you’re out of luck here. I will say that Ron’s customer service is impeccable—he is always thoughtful and helpful—but the selection at this store is quite simply tailored to the big, not the tall.

The person helping us was really friendly and helpful. My husband was like a kid in a candy store finding clothes that actually fit.
